Textiva Disclaimers & Limitations
Transparency notice regarding mathematical models, statistical heuristics, and third-party platform specifications.
1. Readability & Writing Analysis Are Heuristic Estimates
Readability formulas such as Flesch Reading Ease, Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level, Gunning Fog Index, Coleman-Liau, and SMOG are mathematical formulas based on syllable counts, character lengths, and sentence counts. They provide useful quantitative approximations of text complexity. However, they do not assess semantic depth, narrative cohesion, conceptual difficulty, or audience background. Scores should be treated as guidance rather than definitive assessments of quality or comprehension.
2. Citation Formatters Do Not Verify Source Authenticity
Our citation tools (APA, MLA, Chicago, Harvard, IEEE, Vancouver, etc.) validate and arrange user-submitted fields according to style manual typographical conventions. Textiva does not query external academic databases or DOI resolvers to verify whether the author, journal volume, or publication date is factually correct. Users remain responsible for academic integrity.
3. Social Media Character Limits Are Subject to Change
Our social media counters (X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, SMS, YouTube, Meta descriptions) evaluate lengths against platform standards (e.g., 280 characters for standard X posts, 160 characters for SMS). Social media companies periodically modify character thresholds, URL weights, or emoji scoring algorithms. Users should verify live constraints for mission-critical campaigns.
4. Deterministic Generators (No Generative AI)
Content generators (Lorem Ipsum, usernames, dummy bios, template email builders) are strictly template-based and pseudorandom algorithms. Textiva does NOT employ LLMs, neural networks, or generative AI APIs to produce writing. Outputs are designed purely as structural placeholders and drafting frameworks.
