Textiva Privacy Policy

Core Privacy Commitment: Your Text Never Leaves Your Device
Textiva is designed from the ground up as a client-side execution utility. When you paste or type sensitive paragraphs, passwords, code snippets, financial notes, or extracted emails into any tool on this site, that text is processed directly inside your browser’s JavaScript engine. It is never uploaded to our servers, never stored in databases, and never shared with third parties or external AI models.
1. Zero Server-Side Processing
Unlike typical online conversion utilities that submit payloads to remote web servers, Textiva utilizes pure TypeScript algorithms running in Web APIs. Operations such as:
- Word counting, character tokenization, and sentence density
- Case transformation (camelCase, snake_case, Title Case, etc.)
- Line sorting, deduplication, and regex cleaning
- Myers diffing and text comparison algorithms
- Readability calculations (Flesch-Kincaid, Gunning Fog, SMOG)
- Encoding and decoding (Base64, Hex, HTML entities, ROT13)
All occur locally in memory within your active browser tab. When you close or refresh the tab, that in-memory text is immediately discarded.
2. Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Strict Quarantine
Textiva uses Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID: G-VJY4RN35YF) strictly to monitor high-level traffic metrics and discover broken site routes. We have enforced architectural guard rails:
- General page views and URL paths
- Anonymous tool click counts (e.g., "Word Counter opened")
- Device type and browser screen dimensions
- Referrer source
- Your text inputs or outputs
- Extracted emails, URLs, or phone numbers
- Filenames of uploaded or downloaded files
- Search queries containing user-entered text
- Clipboard contents
3. Local Storage and Cookies
Textiva does not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. We do not store your text in localStorage or sessionStorage by default. Any preference storage (such as light/dark mode selection) contains only UI configuration flags, never user data or text content.
4. File Downloads and Clipboard Access
When you click "Copy" or "Download TXT/CSV/JSON", Textiva triggers native browser APIs (navigator.clipboard.writeText and URL.createObjectURL(Blob)). The generated file is synthesized entirely on your client machine and saved directly to your downloads directory without contacting a server.
